if anyone sees this car and is tempted by the price, just make sure you check EVERYTHING!! there is a few nasty surprises lurking in the sills and other areas if you dont look carefully you could easily miss. he has had the sills bodged to hide the rust which is seriously bad!! when I got there he had wiped tree sap from the car using a paper towel and the paint looked awful! feel free to pm me if you wish further clarification.

My turbo is currently with G.Clements Bodyshop in Ripley having both sills done & a couple of other bits, they did the same job on my previous 2.7 too. If someone does buy that S2 & wants a good local contact with experience of 944s to sort the rust & paint I reccomend them highly.

No idea what the S2 is like but everything can be worth buying for the right price [:D]

Hmmm. I was confident that James would have bought it. You didnt tell me about the poor paint! Still, I bet that youre glad that you stuck at it until you could get the air vents out to have a proper look.

It surprises me how many specialists and bodyshops are happy to fit repair sills over the originals.....

I went back and had a really good look in daylight, its terrible! I am going to get the other mate.
