Well just about to press the buttons for my first trackday of 2009 -- probably with Goldtrack on Sat Jan 17th at Silverstone GP. Anyone else fancy that?

Can't afford long that day, so can't join you on the track in my car, but as Silverstone is pretty local, I'll try to fit in a warm-up drive over there after this cold weather (hoping it has improved by then). Will you be running the orange race machine?

Simon

PS - believe I spoke to you when I dropped into a Donington trackday about September last year?

Simon, hi - yes, drop by if you can -- always plenty of machinery to interest a petrolhead. Yes. planning to run the racecar

Paul,

Thanks again for your hospitality today, made my visit well worthwhile - just a shame I couldn't stay any longer.
Added a couple of images below.

ABS worked well in the pit garage didn't it => =>:

Simon - quick work with the photos - good to meet up.

QUICK REPORT
It turned into a very good day. Survived the morning when the track was very wet/slippery - it went open pit lane as numbers were relativley low. Gave various pax laps and a friend was on hand to give me some more of his race experience. He also drove the car and pronounced it as a good example. [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]The track was almost 100% dry after 2pm. Then had a really good long session perfecting a better cornering technique - felt quicker anyway!! [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Car ran faultlessly, which is always a bonus. Now more convinced than ever that car development is on hold for the time being and that all the improvements need to be done on the driver![FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]paul f
