January 2010
The Hadley Bowling Green Inn on the Last Tuesday of the Month. Post Code WR9 0AR

A new year dawns once again and this January we had about the same attendance as last year, although, some of the names change. I was pleased to meet Neil Jones and Nicky, from Shrewsbury and also, a regular, Mike Whenray, all the way from Chepstow. Two long distance runners who may put a few of you to shame who think it too far to come. Come on chaps pull your socks up.

Robert Teague had some sad stories to tell about buying a Lexus. It seems they need to be checked well before taking away from some outlets, be warned, or of course, buy a Porsche !

At writing this, I have already had two double bookings for the annual lunch and thank those who have been so prompt. See last month's details about this. When you read this, time may have run out but if you are late, try me and I will do my best to fit you in.

Sorry Editor, but I must put this in again, at least for the newcomers. Tuesday 30th March, , we will NOT be at the Bowling Green. NB. NB .NB !
We shall have an evening at "Worcester Independent Porsche Specialists", at Rushock Trading Estate. Droitwich. Unit 2. Just on the left as you go in.
For the Sat Nav., nuts, Post Code WR9 0NR.
I understand that this is for Rushock village, where "˜Tom Tom' will take you ! Most of the others, go to the industrial estate, where you should be. Please try to arrive by 7.30pm. Beware, the Industrial estate gate closes at 7pm but we can open it as you arrive and hopefully there will be someone to supervise.
If you arrive late, ring Dominic on 078321 29589 and he will open up.

Curborough.

I have booked again for Thursday the 27th May. The cost will be £30 per car. Limit of 24 cars so book early with me to ensure a place. Cheque made out to PCGB and marked Curborough on the back. My address is in the February issue. There will be a new system arranged to avoid queue shuffling as before.

Canoeing.
Sunday 27th June, 10.30am at the Royal Lodge as last year. Again, apply to me for details.
Bring a cushion, for the seats are hard.

Forthcoming Events.

The above and - Hopefully printed on white background ! and :-
Tuesday 29th June, our ever popular Show Night along with , Will Gough's other Classics.
Saturday, October 30th Visit to Meguiars at Daventry.
Does anyone want to organise a Run to the Dorset Steam Fair on the 4th or 5th September ?
I am going to the Nurburgring on the 10th so it is too close for me. .

John Lord.
