Thanks for putting piccy on forum - much appreciated

Quite surprised with the colour when we went to JCT yesterday with paperwork - it looks very good next to all the silver trim.!! but this is my opinion only - don't start another argument. Its all good fun and that's what the forum is about.

Very individual colour choices.
Good on you John for not following the silver / grey crowd.
Just hope you don't get too much of a pasting come re-sale time.
Enjoy the car.

Just sold my last white boxster with boxster red interior privately without any problem - so no worries that.

The choice of specification is an individual choice hopefully to be enjoyed for the next few years motoring. My local independent Porsche dealer is trying to locate a white cayenne for a customer - he will only have white vehicles. A lot safer than grey or silver which are difficult to see on bad days.

You are ahead of the crowd John - white is the new silver, or at least, it will be. Congrats on the new car - looks superb. White has always suited Porsches - I can't think of one model that didn't look good in white! Hmm....a white Cayenne maybe the exception, not sure! Would look good in the UAE maybe. It might draw accusations of being a white elephant?

You didn't fancy white wheels a la 968CS then?[8D][:)] Or even red to match the interior? Black! Now that would look mean...

Hey, does that last post qualify me for the first post of 2005? Is there a prize? A life perhaps? I have an excuse - I am at work...

Oh, and..err..Happy New Year to all! Although there are still two hours to go where I am.

[:D] Yep, I am in the farthest South West corner of Berkshire known locally as Brazil...

Happy new year to you James - if we don't see you tomorrow - will possibly want to put the new car back in a warm garage before the snow arrives.

Perhaps a run out later in the month - I know several good restaurants with a good run over the north york moors.
