Spotted our Mr Woods out for an afternoon drive in his Speedster just after 2o'clock today on the GSO road from EK just before M77 interchange.

Lucky man some of us were working.

Alan.

Ah retirement! [:D]

I had a jaunt up to Turriff today with a set of rare old Minilite alloy wheels for my MX5 to get them repaired.

Work? ... oh yes, I remember ... it was rubbish! [:'(]

I'm not sure retiring is the word that springs to mind when I think of you, Jane!

I was indeed out today it was such a nice day .Was the hood down at that time as I went out later with the hood down still a bit windy .I went down to Galston turned around and came back over the Fenick Moors then back onto the GSO road .It is about the only road without potholes I use it a lot with the Speeedster nice and smooth surface .

Brian

As to work I never miss it now should have done it years ago the only problem is that we never put enough into the pension pot in our working days so have to work on longer than we should .Mind you I could come of of retirement if some one want's a Kitchen[:D][:D]

Yep. A big Pothole although you could have found a more local one. There seem to be a few about at the moment.

I always wanted to be shy and retiring. So far I have only managed the shy part! Doh! [:D]

I was stopped last night by the police and asked to take a breathalyser .I asked why !! they said I was seen driving all over the road from side to side .I said I am not drunk just trying to miss the pot holes [:D][:D]

Surprised you never seen me I was in my White Berlingo (Not many of them on the road) lol.

Cheers Alan.

White Van Man normally give them a wide berth [:D]
Should have sounded the horn or flashed the lights .
I came back to the house to get warmer gear on and a hat and get the hood down then went out again for a good drive ,still not summer cold around the back of the neck .

Hope youv'e had your warm air control flaps done. You need them in this weather to stop it from over cooling.Air cooleds are funny old things you know.[:)]

Out again today hood down all the way ,down the coast still a tad cold yet but a great 60ml drive . ah the joys of retirement .

Heard a good one on Saturday night went to the Solid 60s show at the Glasgow concert hall to see various singers and bands of my era Mike Berry . Wayne Fontana .Chris Farlowe . X Hollies singer. The Merseybeats and they make a comment that there was over £1000 in heating allowance on this stage.[:D][:D]
