July Club Night BBQ

All just to confirm our July meeting will be a BBQ held at Grande Tyres, Whickham In. Est. Whickham Bank, NE16 3DA

This is Greg's business and I asked him if he could host the BBQ given the inclement weather we've endured this summer. This way we have the option of being undercover if as it likely it rains again, plus Greg has kindly offered the use of his ramps should anyone be inclined to have a look under their vehicle. We will be providing burgers sausages salad etc for a small donation if anyone wants to bring their own food to cook then thats fine too.

The Metro Car meet is held the same night, the one that meets in the car park Opposite Toys R US so you may want to pop in there for a nosey en route. Greg's place is about half a mile away from there. Lets have a good turn out please see you next week and to help with catering numbers can you indicate on here if you are coming.

I'm away at Le Mans from Wednesday night so will not have forum access until next Tuesday.

Thanks

see you next week

Hi Ashley,

Lynn and I will be there, may not make the Metro centre but looking forward to a BBQ.

Chris

Linda & I intend to be there, all being well. Lets hope for some good weather.
Greg, do you need us to bring anything??

Hi Ash,

I'll be bringing some lovely sausages along for all to try...how many are you expecting to attend?

I'll get some buns too!

Thanks John.

Peter and i would like to come but are stuck for dog sitters given our new arrival, would it be ok if we brought them along with us please?

I'll be there, and see what I can rustle up for the BBQ too.

Quite fancy the Metro Centre meet too; maybe we could meet at Greg's first to unload any meat and then travel to the other meet in a meat-less convoy, before returning to our meet for some meat?

Julie, it's fine to bring the dogs but do we need to hide the sausages? [:D]
David, I'll meet you with your meat before the Metro meet.
John not sure about numbers yet, watch this space.
Panda, you're more than welcome to pop along.
See you all there.
Greg

Thanks Greg

i will make sure they are both on short leads - but you may still need to watch the sausages!!

Julie

Not too sure if I'll be bringing the porsche shoed polo out if the weather carries on as it is, driving it in the wet is pretty much guaranteed death.

I understand that the plan is to meet at the depot at around 8pm, giving those who are interested a chance to view the cars at the monthly car meet outside Toys R Us from 7pm.
Deb and I will be at the depot if anyone wants to come straight here.
Don't be put off by the rain, BBQ is still going ahead and we have plenty of room inside.
See you all later
Greg

Deb/Greg, thanks for hospitality!

I'll get to know who is who eventually [:D] had a good first monthly meet.

Cheers Frutti_pig

Thanks Deb/Greg for a good night and food[:)]
I hope Moira and the rest do not leed Debs astray at the Champagne bar friday night[:D] [:D]
