On June 30th we will be holding our 10th annual pageant and concours at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire this year
As before there will be a 'street concours' open to both region 8 and other PCGB members with spectacular prizes all kindly donated by our sponsor, Porsche Centre Nottingham
Entry fee to the event on the day will be £10.00 per car and £7.00 if pre-paid. This includes free entry to the concours.
The whole day is designed to be a family event, with a children's quiz and a lower entry price to Chatworth House and gardens with a current PCGB membership card.
If you require an entry form to download and more details please click on the link below,

Over the few years the event has raised £3,500 for various charities and this year our chosen charity is the Air Ambulance.
Look forward to seeing you there (we have ordered a sunny day)
Cheers
Kerry and Tom

Just wanted to bump this into the "today's posts" section so people can decide what to do tomorrow, on the sunny day of 2013.

Lovely day out, 187 cars I believe, warm and at a fantastic location.

Thanks to Randolph and Cath, Tom and Kerry, Laura and Charles, Porsche Nottingham and everybody else.

Here are one or two -

We were up from the deep south staying with friends and fellow members in the area and came along to the event with another "visitor". It was indeed a great day out, fantastic venue and well impressed with the number of cars on show! Well done R8.[:)] Out of interest, how many of the cars on show were from your region and, thus, how many visitors?

Thanks for the photos mike - Excellent as usual
Amazed we had cars from deepest darkest Devon - thanks for attending
Not sure of the break down of Region 8 members to other regions but it was nice to see several cars from region 10 ending their WOTY with us and Kevan brought Caymans for their register display from all over the regions.
Think by the end of the day we were around 200 cars, which was phenomenal.
Hope you all had a good journey home (in a Porsche it almost goes without saying) and most of all a big THANK YOU to all Region 8 members who helped (you know who you are [;)]!)

I'm guessing at about 30% Region 8.

We are fortunate having Chatsworth in our area as it is within easy reach of the West Midlands,Yorkshire, North West, Lincs and Staffordshire Regions so we have a large number of potential attendees!

Believe over £1000 was raised for the Air Ambulance on the day.

Just as a side note we usually get 20 cars to club nights (27 in June) and last night we had Region 9 over to visit and had 36 cars.

And last night a good time was had by all[:D]
Great to see so many over from R9

Hi
Just to let everyone that attended last Sunday that the exact figure we raised for Air Ambulance was £1,024 which was a record for our Chatsworth event
Thanks to everyone that happily paid to park with us and helped us do so well.
Derbyshire life magazine also covered the event so hopefully we will have a good write up with them when it is featured.
Cheers
Kerry

All

We travelled up from Gloucester on the Saturday and visited Chatsworth on the Sunday.

What a great event and great bunch of people with interesting cars.

As a Cayman owner the section for just these was an added insentive to take part.

It was surprise to not see asingle silver one among those on display.

Well done to those who organised it.

Hope to do it next year as well.

Trevor
