June Club night and Events update

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder that its Club Night at the Old Ferryboat on Wednesday the 13th June 2012. Also NAT (News at Ten) will give you an update of events both Regional and National for the 2012 season. TOM (Tip Of Month) has been joined by his brother JON (Joke of Night) So if you have a TOM or JON to share with us please let me know prior NAT and we will see you take centre stage to share with us. We will continue with our monthly raffle to raise funds to subsidise events*which we can all enjoy. If you have something for the raffle table that will be much appreciated.

EVENTS

Golf Event v PC Cambridge and BBQ Thursday 21 June 12

We will be returning to the Melbourn Golf Centre on the 21st June 12 for our annual Pitch and Putt event playing in teams against the Porsche Centre Cambridge. Dont worry if you have not played Golf before - this is a fun event. Prizes for nearest the hole and the winning team. Following the golf we return to the Club House and will be having a BBQ. You are welcome to bring you own clubs etc but for the novice like me all equipment is supplied. We need to start early so you will need to be at the Golf Club by 1845hrs. We also need money in advance in order the Golf Club can cater for us. For those who have entered names and not as yet paid Would you please bring cheques or cash (£7.00 pp note this event is subsidised by your raffle*) contact me if you cannot make Club night and wish to join in this event.


Kimbolton Country Fayre and Classic Car Show "" Concours "" Sunday 15th July

We are pleased to be able to report that our request for a new display area has been met with approval and we now have an excellent area to display our cars. I am now in receipt of the reduced price entry tickets for this event. Please e mail me or get along to club night if you require a ticket. R24@proscheclubgb.com
Many of you are have attended before but for those who have not rest assured this is a full on show for the whole family "" a main ring constantly keeping everyone amused whilst in the grounds all types of stalls, craft fair, Dream Rides from the sporting Bears to mention a few.

CONCOURS This event (Kimbolton) will also be our concours event - so get polishing. As ever you will be judges of the various classes and we will also run a visitors class. Although judging will be on the day results will be held until a special Club night in August!

I almost forgot to mention this event is also the annual Banquet "" please don't forget to bring and share your dish.
