The JUNE Monthly Day Meeting is at OPC Silverstone (Old Tiffield Road, Towcester, Northants NN12 6PF), which is at the north end of Towcester, on Sunday 10th June, 1pm onwards...

Bob Spratley (who carries out many Porsche inspections for Peter Morgan, the pre-purchase expert) will be bringing along his diagnostic equipment to plug in and "˜interrogate the brains' of some of our cars, etc.

He can read fault codes, recorded over-revs and give an indication of whether the car has been clocked. He will also be giving a brief chat on what the recorded over-revs really mean, to dispel some incorrect myths which have emerged on internet forums! So come along - well worth a look[;)].

More information on rearranging the Monthly Evening Meeting will hopefully follow soon...

Monthly Evening meetings, from May onwards...

Having been aware for some time that South Central region of TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) have been meeting at the same location as us, at a different time of the month, I have talked to the RO of their region (Peter Garrett) and they all think it's a great idea to meet up on the same evening.

With effect from this month (May) the evening meeting will be on the fourth Monday of the month from 7.15pm at The Old Talbot, Potterspury, NN12 7QD (so this month's is Monday 28th May).
Another good idea is that their evening meetings run only from April to October, in keeping with the longer days, which is when R10 evening meets will be held from now on.

(The Main Monthly Meet at OPC Silverstone - second Sunday of each month at 1pm will remain unchanged, of course[;)])

That's excellent news Paul.

At last a meeting that I can attend.!

Hope to be there next Monday for the inaugural meeting.

Jeff

Good informal meeting, nice to be able to spend the time outside.

Thanks to PCGB and Paul for their hospitality, Bob for the software demo, Caz for the cakes and the sun for shining!

Yes I'm a bit slow on the reply here, but great to see the nice weather and all you marvellous supporters of the cause[:)]
Many thanks to Bob for the demo/all the cars he looked at for us and yes, Caz's cakes were lovely [:D],

The June evening meeting will be on Monday 25th June (note: fourth Monday of the month) from 7.15pm at The Old Talbot, Potterspury, NN12 7QD.

Hope to see even more of you at this monthly evening joint PCGB/TIPEC meeting[;)].

Next Sunday meet is tomorrow, 15th July at OPC Silverstone, Towcester - postponed from last week when some race or other was going on at Silverstone. And the weather forecast looks good!
