After selling my 924s to buy a boxter, and the boxter sale falling through, I have been looking for a half decent 944!

Well, just done the deal on the phone and collecting it tommorow morning. Its a 1989 944 lux. When I have got it, and washed it, I will post some photos. Can't wait now.

Good news. 1989 would make it a 2.7 wouldn't it?

Mind you, don't let the Boxster forum users know that you're changing sides - they'll be very jealous.[:D]

Yep 2.7.
Comes with quite a few spares I am told, including a spare set of wheels with good tyres.
Be interesting to see how much differance the power is to my old 2.5 924s!.

If it was a late '24S then youll probably be disappointed: although the 2.7l car is a little torqueier than the preceding model...

That was more of an '1988 924Ss are brilliant' post; than a '2.7l 944s are rubbish' post, if you see what I mean? [:D]

Just tried to download a photo, says the file is too large.
I have tried to make it smaller, but I am bl**dy no good at this[:(]

I will try again during the week.

I'm happy to resize them for you if you can email them to me (or recommend some free software so you can have a go if you prefer).

Brill, thanks very much.
I will take some better ones during the week and send them to you.

Best not to recommend software, as I have not got a clue how to work this bl**dy computer!.

Here you go Brian (great looking car btw)
