Just Collected

Hi all, just thought I'd announce my official membership of the 997 Register with the collection of my new car today. It's a C2S cabriolet in atlas grey with the powerkit, sports chrono plus, turbo wheels, CD changer and sat nav and it's absolutely gorgeous! I thought my Boxster 3.2 S was brilliant (it was) but this is a different league in many ways. I'll give more feedback in due course when I've done a few more miles, when the smell goes from the exhaust - and when the rain stops. And I'll try to post some pics.

A C2S Cab with powerkit will be one hot ride! Many congratulations. [:D]

TIP: One I wished I found out from day one when I got my C2S Cab.....

Don't forget to disconnect the Sports Exhaust vacuum orange plug to make it growl all the time!! I think it may be a little trickier to get to for powerkit models than normal ones with PSE though.

Some info on the hack if you read down from here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=188587&mpage=3&key

I implimented a 'different' solution to most others. Most people just unclip the orange plug. Both methods stops the PSE valve closing and thus keeps the PSE on 'loud' all the time.

That totally makes the car IMHO, especially with the top down going through a tunnel!!!!!

Sorry, I digress... Congrats once again [:)]

Sounds great - now you're 'live' on the register, let's see some pics! Combo with the turbo wheels sounds great.

Welcome along Critch [:)]

llok forward to seeing the pictures and meeting.

Send your details to Rob997 our RO and he will update your information onto the register, the club office can take a while sometimes [&:]
