Just for fun... How many Porsche crests do you have (on one car)

ORIGINAL: GlennS A friend of mine in the motor trade has had a *cough* Ferrari *cough* into his workshop with no fewer than 16 prancing horses adorning the outside. This got me to thinking what the average amongst Porsche owners would be... I'll start the ball rolling with "5", nose + 4x wheel centres. (remember... the rules are "Porsche crests" and "outside", steering wheels centres etc. and the written word "Porsche" don't count.)
Well I have Eleven, namely, 4 x wheel centres, 1 x on the nose, 4 x Porsche crested valve caps, and 2 x crests on the number plates. You could potentially get two more easy ones .... Porsche Key with crested key fob in the door lock for 2 more and I could have easily put two extra packets of valve caps (+8) on display but all seem like cheating [;)]

Most Dino's, which aren't even officially Ferraris, have more than the average Porsche not to mention the unmentionable 944>250GTO's [:(]

Porsche crested keys in the door locks and random (non-functional) valve caps are definitely "cheating"; eleven is impressive, though!

I can add at least 2 to that - the crest in the centre of my steering wheel, and a sticker on the tip button in the centre of the gear stick! I did have crested valve caps, but took them off as the crests had faded badly.

Steering wheel crests and other interior stuff doesn't count, I am afraid. The rules for this little game are "outside".

I have one more 'legal' one to add ..... Porsche creast on the car cover [:D] so Twelve what does the jury say ? [:-]

Car cover... mmm.... difficult one. I've consulted with the stewards and they've ruled thusly "If the cover is see-through and you're in the habit of driving around with it on, then the total is twelve. If the cover is not see through, then only one Porsche crest is on display and the total is one". So... what are you claiming? [8D]

Has anyone fitted stick on badges on the front wings like ferraris have and if so do you any photos.

Nine for me - badge panel, wheel centres and dust caps. A few folk have put those crests on the front wings, I know Rick Cannell used to make them along with all his other decals but IIRC there was some objection from Porsche about them..

Mine has them on the top of the front wings. I hate them but they were masked around when it was resprayed! I'm sure if you search Photobucket.com /A9xxc you'll find some pics.

I have crests on there. I fitted fibreglass vented front wings which had indentations to take a couple of extra bonnet crests. Couldn’t leave the indentations empty, that would have looked very silly … so I have 1x bonnet badge, 2x front wing badges and 4x wheel centres = 7x crests!

Hmmm... the recently purchased Turbo had... 4 wheel centres, four valve caps, the bonnet badge, one on each front and rear numberplate, and an extra bonnet badge glued on next to the yellow-painted turbo badge. Er I think that made twelve. Fortunately past-tense as the rear bonnet badge and yellow turbo badge have been removed.

I didn't fit them, but they are on my car. They were fitted by one of the previous owners. to be honest, I never liked them in the photos, but in real life they just seem to 'work'.
