www.circuit-days.co.uk had organised an evening session so I thought mid May should be good chance of nice weather. How wrong was I ,pi$$ed it down all evening. There I am the only porsche there and I think the only rear wheel drive surrounded at the paddock by jap stuff wih big exhausts and 4wd with clever diffs etc etc. Everyone telling me" that 'll be tricky round here in the wet mate" " don't fancy your chances in that!". Suffice to say only overtaken once by a subaru wrx sti abc type b spec r xyz who minutes later had a discussion with a tyre wall! Not that I rejoice in someone bending their pride and joy but I did feel quite smug and happy that the Stuttgart flag was flying against the odds (or so they all thought)[]. BTW if you get a chance to go to Cadwell its as they say a mini nurburgring and well worth the trip even if it is wet. Before anyone asks the C2 wears khumo ecsta 205x17 fronts and 255x17 rears which for trackdays I highly rate especialy after todays effort.[]
