Anyway bar that all good. One thing though was one of my rears was down to 2.5mm on inside, as I am going to Nurburgring next week apparently under 3mm is illegal abroad !!! I will change them when I get back , hopefully I won't get pulled.

Also they have a funky mobil one oil holder in OCP's now, it comes with gloves and has velcrow on it to attach to the boot , keeps it nice and tidy. I bought one as I though 15 quid was ok, I went to take the oil out and the salesman said it comes with oil so keep that. A one litre bottle costs about 12 quid IIRC so cost of holder works out about 3 quid. Good value IMO.

Think you'll find the LEGAL limit throughout Europe is 1.6mm, though some countries recommend change at 3mm. The rule is 1.6mm across at least the central 3/4 of the tread, all around the circumference, and with visible tread elsewhere.

So the outside/inside edges, for 1/8 of the section width could be down to very little and be legal.

Cheers, this OPC tyre inspection says legal limit in Europe is 3mm!!! But you are right as the rest is 3.4mm and 5mm I should be fine.
