Just introducing myself

Afternoon all. I've been surfing a few times now on the Forum looking at all you crazy kids correspondence and I thought it was about time to introduce myself.

In brief. Owner of '89 964 C2 in Guards Red with white leather piped in red. Standard vehicle that belonged to my fathers late best pal Mr Derek Wilkie of Green Welly Stop fame Tyndrum, Bonnie Scotland.

Derek and I were car daft over 30 years of our friendship and he bought this Porsche as his pride and joy not long before he died. He was a lover of Porsche. Sadly he passed away in March 04[:(] and to my overwhelming joy[:)] the family gave me first refusal on the car. I drive it with everlasting pride not to mention the permanent smile I have when behind the wheel.

I live just outside a small village in the Highlands of Scotland called Crianlarich. Some may know of the village, however, most probably know the infamous driving road the A84/85 that joins the A82 which will take you up and down the West coast of Scotland.

I have a small family business of 20, 4 and 5 star self catering lodges and cottages on a small family estate. Check out the website:

Hoping to incorporate the accommodation I can provide with Porsche GB. If anyone has any ideas, I would be interested to listen.

I hope to meet some of you soon but meantime, just to say that I will continue to view the forum as regularly as possible and hopefully be able to contribute in soe way or another.

Yours aye,

Cameron.
