Just joined and though I'd say hello...

Hi All,

I've just joined after buying a 928 GTS and though I'd say hello.

My name is Bob and I live in Hertfordshire near Dunstable. I'm a software engineer and work reasonably locally in Kings Langley.

I've got a 924S as well, but it had a small fuel fire, which has destroyed the engine wiring loom. I'm currently rebuilding it but am having a few problems, so I decided to get another car to keep me mobile. Having got the 924S I really appreciated the whole build quality and Porsche ethos, but wanted a bit more oomph. The answer was obvious really. I also reckon I can get my 11 year old daughter in the back, so I can justify it as a family car!

I'll post a photo of the car if any one is interested.

Looking forward to many happy years of membership and ownership.

I'd assume you'll be in R21, and JZ in Kings Langley have our Club night in May IIRC. Hope to see you there. [:)]

I am indeed in R21 and JZ is only 1 mile down the road from where I work. I've not yet received and membership stuff, so if you can tell me the date of the club night at JZ I'd be grateful.

PS I forgot to mention that it's a 5 speed manual in white.
