well not exactly. but, i think i might have been over using it a bit after the quiet life its had over the past 10 years or so.. the old girls now making very strange noises, i thought at first i had a flat tyre, as it was the right sort of noise although no loss of handling. nursed it home and put it to bed will trailer it up to Zentrum as soon as Mike can fit it in [:(].

hope its not ££ i'm broke at the moment so it would have to wait to be fixed later []

just read Barrys artical in PP and he says its common for the rear shocks to have to be replaced on a car thats stood still for a while..i wnder if that could be the problem here?

Brilliant timing as GTPP are coming to do an artical on my cars next week [&o]

Hi Helen,

Just picked up on your thread, don't think you'll have done much damage, these cars are built like 'Tiger Tanks' ! Probably related to lack of use, low milage is great but comes with a whole host of other problems. We are showing a low milage 964 RS N-GT to a chap in a place called Melbourne, don't think it's far from you, so if you want I'll get one of the guys to call in for a look at the car, if the chap buys the 964 we can bring back your SE on the trailer.

BTW did you roll one of the Scalextric cars last time you were up !!!!!!!!!!!

Just a small injury, they never die, if the noise is from the rear, and is not eng/transmission, its probly no more than the hand brake lining , Andrew will put it right, if you have problems with the car in the future , just give me a ring Barry SE REG
