If you don't want spend a lot bear in mind what you don't spend buying it you will probably end up spending double to keep it running.

What is the mileage? The price may be a bit high for the usually unpopular auto version unless everything is spot on.
Belts, history, sills, accident damage are the obvious
Sills - take a torch and take the air vent out of the B pillars and look down (one of those dentist mirrors on a long stick is good too)

I would advise against this car, not because it's a bad deal just that i doubt it's the car you really want. The reason I jump to such an assumption without even knowing you is simple. It's an Auto, it's a Porsche, the two do not go together in 944 form, most people buy a Porsche looking for that something that most other cars do not have, heart and soul. The 944 is a fantastic car even in auto guise but it will not give you the fun factor that a manual will. There are many 944's for sale out there some good and some bad , this particular car looks like a good one except for the gearbox. Of course you may be looking for an auto car if so buy it as it will out perform most other cars on the road but not as much as if it had that all important manual gearbox...[
good luck
Pete
I agree about buying an automatic.I didn't even know Porsche made them !
The look of the 944 is the main reason I wanted one.The design just does it for me.No disrespect to other none 944 owners[
I'll probably Wait for a manual 944 to come along. No hurry.
I do like the 944 in the above post though.Just a bit too much for me at the moment. The wife would start divorce proceedings if I bought it.Tempted now [

No close up pics of the bodywork so hard to judge its condition plus I suspect judging by the advert its going to need its belts doing which you need to factor into your budget. If those 32000 odd miles since they were fitted are over 4 years ago or more, then I wouldn't even start the engine up.

Tell me when to stop []
On the face of it and if the advert is accurate this looks like potentially a good buy, depending on price. Its an earlier square dash model of course but nowt wrong with that.

I think a tired '84 Lux with a three-speed auto would struggle against a Kia Sorrento.
