So finally bitten the bullet (and gained SWMBO approval) for one of these - logic kind of goes like this - if I am going to change my NA 911 for a turbo 911, it might as well be the full-fat turbo as not. So here we are.

couple of questions remain though - sports PASM - that's about as firm a ride as I want in normal use - but am thinking I might just not need it at all. I won't track it other than once or twice maybe. And if I don't take S-PASM I can probably lose the front axle lift too and save myself a bit in the process. Whats the view on S-PASM - worthwhile or not? driving mostly on A and motorways, with some scruffy b-roads in between.
Intending to use it all year round except for the really salty slushy bad days when I've got the Macan instead - but not sure too many folks use their Turbo all year round - do you other Turbo owners store your cars over winter? I use my 991 all year round like this with some winter rubber on and it's been fine with it - I just keep it off the road when salt/grit/slush and ice significant - unless I really have to use it.
PDCC - don't think I need that either and didn't specify it
And as I don't need centre-lock wheels, ceramic brakes or lashings of alcantara, didn't go for the GTS alternative or Turbo S - and GTS now delivery-wise just as slow at a turbo.

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome as I'm a long way from locked configuration.... 2023 delivery estimate - so a very long way I suspect....

Cant speak for the Turbo but I'm in a Turbo S and I personally think the ride is plenty hard enough for the road and would provide you with all the stability you would need. Depends if cosmetically it is the lower stance you prefer?

On the other hand the front axle lift has been great. Particularly good is the fact you can programme it to raise at certain places when you get there, for example when I get near home it raises automatically when I approach my drive. Its been great for some larger speed bumps as well. And I also find PDCC great as the top view works well for tight spaces and protecting the alloys!

I've had my S since end of May and plan to use it most of the year unless its a horrific day, as I have a Cayenne for that. What I have noticed is when its lashing it down the rear air intakes have an annoying habit of collecting small stones thrown up from the road, so Ill use it when wet but try to avoid it when there are rivers running down the road or huge puddles.

Whatever you will enjoy it!
