Collected a 928 from Hexagon on Saturday and have to say, very chuffed!

Thanks. I'd actually been looking at a couple of white ones but one sold before I got there and the other didn't seem so nice but, when I saw this colour in the flesh, it was surprisingly stunning.

It is nice to see it on the original wheels too. Lots have been messed with and you then need to search for the missing bits.

Prices are firming now. Who'd have thought that a few years ago?

White is not the best on a 928 IMHO. Met. Black yes.

ORIGINAL: Big Load

hi
looks good how about some more pictures.

how is she running

Hi

I'll try and get some more pictures when I take her out again next weekend. Went to Winchester from Kent and back yesterday and she really seems to drive well. Everything appears to work with the exception of the cassette deck (yes, it still has the original Blaupunkt). I'm thinking of fitting one of the newer Blaupunkt units which include MP3 connectivity and built-in bluetooth.

I took it very steady on the way there, cruising at 65-70mph. Took my father out for a proper blast whilst I was in Hampshire and cruised back. I don't know how accurate the trip computer is but it said I was averaging 25.4mpg. I'd be made up if it's anywhere near that! The car had been treated to a £2.5k bill by Hexagon before I picked it up so cambelt and water pump are new and the air con is ice cold.

May the summer continue!
