I just posted this in the main Cayman section, not sure how this forum works for postings, so I thought I would post it in the Scotland section as well...

Hello folks.
After YEARS of talking about it I have finally got round to buying my first Porsche.
I looked at 6 2.7's before I bought this one. It is shocking what some people call immaculate. I have been to England 3 times on my travels to view perfect Caymans only to find evidence of crash damage and lack of servicing.
I eventually found Christopher Neil sports cars in Cheshire who sold me my Lovely car. I think it is like new inside, only 28000 miles,
2007, guards red, 19" turbo wheels, alcantara, cruise etc.. When I figure out the ins and outs of this forum I will post some pictures.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello just now and I look forward to Porsche Ownership.

Archie.

Welcome Archie, I'm sure you will enjoy your Caymen.
If you are looking at getting involved with the club then we meet on the first Thursday of the Month at Dakota Hotel, South Queensferry. If you pop along you will meet some of the Members and most likely John Hunter, who also owns a Red 2.8 Caymen. Meeting is very informal and you will be filled in on what the club does i.e. Runs, shows, visits etc.

Alan.

Here we go... Needs a wash in this picture. Just back from Cheshire after collecting my new toy...

Welcome to the Foum

As Alan said there are club meetings twice a month and a number of events running of the year for club members.

Hope to see you soon,

Regards
Scott.
