Just PPI'd a car. Should I be worried?

Hi, a newbie here (but have been browsing for a few months) looking to get his first Porsche. I just had a PPI done on a 1997 LHD C2S by a Porsche Specialist. This is the first car I have had PPi'd and am not sure if I should be worried, or if these are the faults that normally turn up on a car of this age. The car is being sold by a local pestige car garage on behalf of a private seller. The faults they found...

1) AC leaking gas and not working
2) heater blower fan not working
3) mild oil leak around camcover
4) Corosion and mild oild leak around oil tank oil filter
5) damaged undertrays from grounding (car is lowered and fitted with upgraded suspension)
6) wear and tear stuff like disks, pads, tires - all will be replaced before sale
7) windscreen starting to delaminate at base - mild
8) cosmetic paint here and there, but no detected accident repairs

Othewise it has been given a clean bill of health and nothing detected on the test drive. Its covered 42K miles and had its clutch changed and serviced at around 37K miles.
The garage says it will correct all the faults (inc the ac which I know can be expensive) before sale and submit the car for a reinspection. Does this seem about right for a 9yr old car or should I be worried about those leaks and damaged undertrays. The car it self looks fresh and very neat inside and out. We had previously agreed on £27K subject to a PPI. Does this seem about right?

Cheers!

All the faults? Including replacing the windscreen and sorting out the oil filler corrosion, etc. ? If they sort everything then it might be worth going for a Porsche Warranty. Expensive but it would give you peace of mind.
As to the price, I'll let others comment, but for a car devoid of faults, and with new discs, brakes, tyres and serviced, it doesn't seem bad.
One other thing: how long do you plan on keeping it? It may be hard to shift later (LHD).

Ray Northway has one for £25,995

I agree, for 27k, you can probably get a decent RHD

My brother bought a RHD C2S and I think you would struggle to get a good RHD C2S for under £30k. Most of these cars are cherished an very well kept, this doen't sound like a great example and no bargain at £27k for LHD. I would spend a little more and find a nice RHD car.

Regards

Thanks guys, I am going to ponder over this one I think. I really want a wide body and RHD are all over £30K esp if they are low miles.
Cheers

If the aircon has been run for a while with leaking / no gas, I'd be concerned that there may have been damage done to the seals / pump (so just a re-gas may not last).

Screen delamination is fairly common.

Is the corrosion around the oil filter actually on the filter? If so, the filter may not have been changed for a while!

If you buy your used car from an OPC they get a £1000 from porsche to make sure the car is right and ready for sale. Might be a shade more expensive buying from an OPC but at least you will sleep soundly at night.
Hope you find your car.
Cheers

Well I now have the full writen report fro JZM
Corrosion is only to the oil filter, though it wasn't corroded a year ago when JZM, serviced the car. Bilstein Dampers + H&R springs (accoring to them the suspension, bushes etc are all in good condition). Strut brace fitted. I'm happy with the ride (its going to be a weekend fast road/ occational track day car may be 5K miles per year max). The damaged under tray is only one dent (no scapes). Leaking cam cover gasket but not a worry according to them. Delaminating windscreen "should" last a few years (is only £50 excess on insurance anyway to get it replaced when the time comes). Stone chips only to the lower part of the front spoiler so about £100 to airbrush them out if needed. Its got 18" wheels and Big Red brakes. The selling garage will sort out aircon and heater + discs + pads. 6month extendable warrentee with a £3000 per claim limit. Really tidy inside and out, full leather ruffled, OBC, cruise, Porsche CD, the Nokia DSP 10 speaker package, full electric seat, no sunroof, Traker, MPH speedo, UK headlight. So is £27K for a LHD C2S with 45K miles with new clutch 8Kmiles ago an OK price? Will keep it for at least 4yrs (may be forever if funds allow seeing as its the last of the aircooleds)
Cheers

Although it sounds good, reckon that it is overpriced for a LHD, saying that there is nothing to stop you negotiating the price down.
