Just recd IMO a v good ins quote. A Manning - £750 with all the bells & whistles plus, and this is the clincher for me, track day cover providing organised by one of 3 bodies (Porsche Club, ATDO & one other). All they do is increase the existing excess by £750. Also say that they are happy for any remedial work to be done by an OPC.

I might chance getting out of 2nd gear now......[:D]
 
Yeah they are good, I've got all mine with A Manning.

Make sure you get an additional letter to your policy docs though as the docs say PCGB track days only and not the others...they have to do it manually.

It's sitting in the garage, next to the RS, looking reeeeeeaaaaallly bored.... need to sort the brakes out on them both before the track season starts in earnest again and get the 3's wheels refurbed in black with silver rim and my new track tyres fitted...just had the RS wheels done a stunning orange and am getting a matching orange carrera script down the side.

Will be at OP in March, although probably in the RS as I just love the RS on that track....so remember to pull over when you see me in your mirrors[;)][;)]
