I work just accross the road from Reading OPC, so you see Porsches blatting pass every so often.

I was having lunch at a local pub and the GT3 drove past the pub twice, some lucky person on a test drive!. It was in white and it sounds awesome! First one I have seen in the roads. All in all a rather pleasant distraction.

Still not a patch on the Carrera GT I saw and heard last year, the driver nailed it from the roundabout just as I was leaving work. Talk about F1 sounds!!

I know what you mean...
A few of us were enjoying a currywurst and lemonade accross the road from the factory last summer, when a Carrera GT pulled out of the car park and nailed it up the main street. Awesome...

Have OPC's got demo's already? Are you sure it wasn't an 997 with an aerokit and a sports exhaust?

So far there is just the white 'pre-production' rhd 997GT3 that was used for the launch at Thruxton last week. Not sure if that is road registered.

However, some of the mags may have lhd press cars. I think autocar are running one down to Le Mans this weekend.

The demo car we were shown around at Reading on Saturday at the Titanic lunch was white. And yes it was the Thruxton car.
