Hello Guys
I just bought a 964 Targa Florio Tip, to keep company to my 996tt.
I love the classic look & feel of the 964, and I will use it as an every-day runner.
It is such a fun car to drive, hear the air-cooled 3.6l & skid the rear-wheel-drive.
I now just wish for some good English weather......!!!!
Cheers

Nice move Dr P. I fully agree that 2 porkers of different vintages are better than one.[:)]

No doubt someone will be along soon to tell us how having 3, 4 or 5 is even better![8D]

you just made a BIG ,. BIG mistake !!!!!
you'll be reversing roles in no time , when you realize the 996 should be the daily driver and the 964 a bundle of fun that you wouldn't want to dilute by using everyday :)

The 996tt is not an "everyday" toy only because one keeps pushing the boundaries and my philosophy is that if "one flirts with the devil one should expect to f**k with the devil" and this is one devil I would not want to f**k with...[;)]

i'm not sure what you mean . but it looks good in print !!

Hey Ian
I use the 964 as an escape valve, I have fun with it so I do not feel the need to push the 996 to the limits, that is mine, car's, local police, etc..
Bear in mind that the 996 could do 3 x the speed limit and 0-62 in under 4".. see http://www.theadamops.net/theadamops/pussies/all.html
Cheers
