Hello there, been a chuffed to bits 996.1 owner since August and frequent 911 Uk regularly. I got a copy of Richard's book for my birthday which lead me here, I hope to get aquainted with some NW owners in the spring...
Heres my baby...

I have spent the last few months touching bits up where necessary. Ive also been detailing and machine polishing as shes been a daily user all her life and needed a bit of tlc, shes had a 48k major service at Hartech who have maintained her for the last 9 years and I have recently fitted (myself) a Kline 200 cell catback stanless system. Next on the list is to fit a set of Turbo style wheels which I like and to strip and paint my calipers and wheel hubs...
Been a car nut since 16 (now 40) and never thought Id own a 911....

Welcome too!

Realising a dream, that sound like perfection to me!

Then again so does a 911.

The forum is great not to mention RIchard!

Happy motoring!

Steve

Welcome. Nice car. Reminds me of my first 911 also a 996 3.4. Very fond memories and still in touch with the new owner. Enjoy.

Welcome, car looks great same as mine. I also wanted a 911 from the age of 8 as my father had an SC in fact two in a row and still talks about them. Got mine 9 years ago and still love it to bits.

Enjoy Phil.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Just back from a trip to see Santa in Lapland so only just read your replies.
Yes she is lovely and I missed her! I sat next to a guy on the way home who was also a petrol head, we spent 3 hours comparing car notes which made the time fly...he seemed impressed when I showed him some pics of the motor....
Unfortunately the house is not mine but it looks good on her..
I'll be hanging around these parts anyway so look forward to getting to know some of you and joining in...
