anyone looking for a low miles (10K) Cayman R PDK in Peridot, FSH, just serviced, extended warranty. 2011 61 plate. Just traded mine so contact Paul Kelly at OPC Aberdeen if interested, not on the website yet.

Cheers, Colin

yes, PCM, Aircon, Sports Chrono (Sport Plus), Sport Exhaust, Carbon Fibre bucket seats.....etc

I have the full spec if anyone wants to see it. Just had the major service at 4 years, MOT and good to go...great car, sad to say goodbye but time to move on.

Pity future classic

Very hard to replace a C/R not sure when I ever have to sell mine not sure I could get a better Porsche for the road true drivers car and liveable usable for road trips and light track.

Cliff

I had it 4 years, bought ex-demo from OPC Aberdeen and now back with them. Loved the car but didn't get to go on any tracks and the roads up here can be a little unforgiving until you get on the main A roads....then it was a dream.

Never usually keep cars beyond 18 months and this is quite frankly the best car I've ever owned - and I've had a few. Totally converted me to PDK (sorry to the purists out there).

Doesn't seem to be too many for sale out there, especially with low miles and warranty. Only 3 on the Porsche website and nothing with my spec/colour.

Hope whoever buys it will enjoy it as much. For me, I'm downgrading to a 2.7 Cayman PDK until something else takes my fancy.

Cheers, Colin

agree hard to replace, in fact impossible unless you spend considerably more money balance and power are near perfect. But I like my metal new so time to let someone else enjoy ;)

Colin, I also live in the Highlands with my 2012 CR manual. I use my CR for both touring and track use and it excels at both. It's the most comfortable touring car I have ever owned, and I've owned quite a few in the 50 odd years I've been driving. Mine also has the carbon bucket seats and for my frame they are just perfect.

I'm hanging on to my CR for the foreseeable, as nothing matches it for value-for-money and pure driving pleasure in my opinion.

Your new Cayman 2.7 PDK is certainly a change in character from a keen driver's point of view. I hope you don't miss the CR too much, it would be expensive to buy it back!

Brian

Hi, yes agree that I'll miss the CR and with your comments Brian but the time was right to move on. I'll keep the Cayman 2.7 for 12-18 months and then see what's out there, hopefully something new that's special will be available then, from what I've read on the 991.2 I'm starting to get an itch to take a look in that direction but we'll see.

I've been in a loaner Boxter for the past week (brand new) and despite not being as fast there is fun to be had when you get the revs up, so I'll sure I'll get my fix from it (fingers crossed).

Cheers, Colin

Looks very nice Colin - [link=http://locator.porsche.com/ipl-customer/ipl/details/details.ipl?md5=c6d521d8bd85581c21091a1dd871610d&url=uk]http://locator.porsche.com/ipl-customer/ipl/details/details.ipl?md5=c6d521d8bd85581c21091a1dd871610d&url=uk[/link]

Did you use the R as a daily driver? If so, how did you find this on the UK roads?

I'm still looking for a manual silver or grey R with sport seats hopefully! Anyone trading in, let me know!

Phil

Hi Phil,

no, kept as special for weekend driving up here in the Highlands, hence the low miles. No real issues with UK roads though and all fillings still in place ;)

For a "track car" it was surprisingly practical and even did the weekly shop in it more than once.

Cheers, Colin

Just missed out on buying this. Was willing to do nearly 900 miles just to see it but sadly I was too late. :( My search continues....
