Just when I thought I had seen it all...

Been on here a couple of times before, months ago now. It's so shocking that absolutely nobody wants to buy it. What a crazy price. It's such a shame someone put so much effort in to create something so utterly tragic.

Exactly. Now if they'd started with a Ferrari and made a 944 replica that would have been a much more interesting toy [:D]
 
Must have blanked it from my memory such is the horror...

Mind you the price they want is pretty scarey too.
 
Put it on the Ferrari owners club forum, they will jump at it - they have never had such build quality out of Modena. Certainly the best pop-up lamps I ever saw on an italian car.

Yup, saw it on here last time 'round .... I hate it with a passion.

Having said that, it is odd in that it is an early square-dash car without a roof - so will presumably have had a LOAD of work done on it.

The kit is also presumably a one-off (otherwise we would have seen more of them). So that would have taken quite a lot of work. And the wheels ... presumably a special order item as well (is it relevant that they seem to have 'AMG' stamped on the rim?)

It just seems a great shame that someone should spend so much time and effort on what is already a good car, trying to make it into another car. The end result must have cost more than selling the 944 and buying an F355, I'd have thought ...

The wheels are an Avez design, they seemed to be more popular a few years ago. I'm not sure they ever made them for later offset cars which might explain that.
