Just where are the radiators?

Greetings once again from Down Under!

I thought I had read that the radiator (s) are up front, but when driving the car (987S) on hot days, I notice a relatively loud fan induction sound from the RHS grille (which is behind me). It is not constant, but is particulalry evident when I am at idle and with the roof down.

What cooling is going on here?

I understand that dealing with temperatures above 25C is not really a big issue for you all (cheeky!), but would appreciate any advice

It's the extraction fan for the engine compartment.

...and if you live in the LHD world then you don't hear it; your passenger does!

The radiators (2) are in front of each front wheel. If you have air conditioning, the radiators for that are in front of the coolant ones.

Fortunately Australia has the steering wheel on the RHS, which may be a problem for the fan noise, but is clearly the correct side.

Serioulsy, havin glived with LHD in the US, I can honestly say that RHD allows for a better coordination of clutch and gearshift (both being controlled from the same brain hemisphere) and may explain th epredominance of autos int he US

I thought it was due to the fact that there were so many lard-arses over there. [8D]
