Just wondering....

Got my clutch done yesterday which has eradicated the clunking and it drives great now however when i got in the car today and pushed the clutch pedal down when it returned it came up to its normal point and then clicked up another couple of inches and feels too high. When i press the pedal down now it moves/clicks down a couple of inches before it reaches its normal position and there is any pressure.
So im wondering what if any the problem is? Is it a slave cylinder problem or maybe requires additional bleeding.

No... but it sounds like the pedal is "missing" it's intended stop. There is an over-centre spring on the clutch pedal, hence in certain "failure modes" the pedal goes to the floor and stays there, but the clutch will function if you put your foot under it and pull it back up - it sounds like it is doing a similar thing at the opposite end of the travel.
