K & N Airfilter

Evening All - I am thinking of replacing my standard air filter with a panel K & N.
I don't want to mess around with an iduction kit etc.
Can any one let me know if they have done the above? I'm not looking for any increase in power - I just thought that a K & N would be better than the standard one.

Nowt wrong with the standard one & cheap as chips to replace (£12 from Eurocarparts).
