Jan time is oil / oil filter change time for me..

Looking around I see the K&N oil filters are advertised a fair bit for the '44's..

They seem to get a good write up - anyone here use them? or have any comments on them?

Are they as good as Porsche Genuine if not better?

Anthony...

Assuming that youre talking about an oil filter (and not an oiled air filter), then Id advise you to use either genuine or OEM oil filter and nothing else.

Fair play - that's all the advice I need to make me stay with Porsche ones (as it has had all its life)... Thx Mate and yes - oil filters was what I was talking about. A

I recently did an oil change and used a K&N oil filter to replace the OE item, I figured that whether it says Porsche or K&N on the filter it will be made by a 3rd party anyway. The K&N one has a nut welded on the end which will make removal much, much easier. After the aggro I had removing the OE filter this reason alone will have me buying another K&N item for the next oil change.
