K944 POR

'K944 POR' is available at a timed auction on the DVLA site at the moment. I would buy it except I can't use it. I think the reserve is only £130.

Thought I'd mention it in case anyone here is interested.

No-one with a 944 can use it. It is chronologically too late. It's illegal to use a plate that makes your car appear younger than actual age.

A pal of mine has a Saab with T944 BHP which I would have quite liked, but can't have that either.

There are a very small number of 'K' Reg 944's around and they are the end of line cars that were registered after August 1992. The 968 was already on sale but the dealers still had one or two 944's knocking around in stock. The howmanyleft.co.uk website shows 4 Turbo cabs actually registered in 1993

The ones I have seen are mostly 944 Turbo Cabrio's and the end of line 944 S2 SE's

When i bought my car it came with A944 OOD already on it. I've never been that fussed about private plates but i do quite like it. Funny thing is most people don't get it and think it's an 83/84 car.

I'm not looking to sell it but curious to know what it may be worth? I guess it's only of any value to our ilk.

A nice K reg 944 for sale on ebay -
