Hi
Have seen a great set of KAHN DESIGN WHEELS on ebay, as below

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10408&item=4535194087&rd=1#ebayphotohosting

Would these be okay to use on my 1998 Carrera 2 which has 030 Suspension fitted ?

Any help welcomed

thanks

Mark

I notice that the tyres are 10mm wider than standard 18", but lower profile, so I expect the overall diameter would be about the same. With 030 suspension you are going to get a hard ride, because the sidewalls of the lower profile tyres will be stiffer. Why not give Harbour Cars a call? They seem like a decent outfit (my brother bought a C4 from them), and I am sure would answer your question. These wheels were fitted to a 2002 Targa, so you could ask them if the offsets and diameters are correct for your car.

Yup. They will look gorgious on your C2 and they will fit fine but you will have to roll/bend the front fenders else the fronts will rub on full lock.

I have these exact wheels fitted to my car for almost 3 years now and never had a problem with them. I also have M030 suspension setup. These wheels on ebay are a steel if they keep that price. Mine cost me more than double that!
My C2 Cab is a Khan Project Car so has the full Khan Project body kit.

Here's some pics of them on my car for you.

Just to let you guys know, I rang the garage selling thw wheels to check if they would fit my (lowered) C2 cab only to find that they had been sold this morning for the princley sum of £1275.... GUTTED, but I think they were too big anyway.

Like I said, I can guarantee without any doubts they would fit. They are on my lowered C2 Cab what more proof do you want. They went for a song at that price.

I take back what I said about them being a decent outfit. What they did was against eBay rules, as they made no mention in the auction listing that they reserve the right to withdraw. A bit naughty, I feel.
