As discussed at the last meeting I have provisionally booked a Karting Grand Prix at Pole Position Leeds.
Here's their blurb from the website:

Grand Prix
Head To Head individual racing - guaranteed to get the blood pumping. All competitors get a practice session, 3 heats and a semi final. The top 8 drivers go through to a Grand Final with the top 3 receiving a bottle of bubbly and trophy and remaining 5 a finalist plaque.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

It's on Sunday the 5th Feb NOW CHANGED TO MARCH 12TH  10am ([&:]) until about 1:30pm. The cost will be £40 per head which is a little more than the endurance format but we should get more racing and it's more like a proper race meeting with heats, grid positions etc.
Guests welcome, minimum age 16.
Also a good opportunity for Sunday lunch afterwards, for those who are interested.

Whether it goes ahead depends on numbers and we need a minimum of 24 (no max) so to start with could all interested parties post a reply here so that we can see if there's enough interest.
If there is we'll need a £10 deposit for each driver by the first weekend in January.
If you know of any members who may be interested but don't use the forum let them know please!

I'll start the ball rolling with Marlies & I plus one guest....thats 3 already! [:D]
