Karting Night

Hi all,

We ran a great karting night at Raceland last year and I'm planning on booking another event.

The proposed date will be Wed 18th May

Same cost as before of £45/head,

I have had a chat with a few of the regulars and a team event looks like the favourite this time, It will allow a mixture of skill levels so everyone has a real chance of prizes - yes I will bring a camera this time, bottle of fizz which we do want to see sprayed and some prizes !

Teams will be allocated on the night,

It will be at the same venue as last year - Raceland - just of the A1 and everyone needs to be there for around 6.30pm, Evening will finish around 9pm.

The minimum I need to run the event is 24 people, and I have to commit financially myself to the minimum £1080 payment, Hence if you wish to attend, then your place will only be confirmed when I receive full payment. We can accomodate 32 people maximum and it was over subscribed last year ! so book early !

Please email me on S.J.Laurie@btinternet.com to confirm your space and I will send details of payment.

Porsche Edinburgh are attending this event also.

Regards
Scott

I'm going to miss this again as I'll be in sunny Florida on the 18th of May.

I'm sure I was on holiday when we did this last year as well. Are you trying to tell me something Scott or do I just have too many holidays?

Looking forward to wearing the white suit again. Going to get my jaw reinforced before the event in case of track rage.[;)] Actualy after my big off last year I will get my entire body reinforced with a layer of lard - working at it right now...

Great fun.

Enjoyed the drive home. Made good progress following F1 OLY, the nights winner in his red mini. What is under the hood of that car?

The 'Over Thirties Team' Mine in other words were three points behind you, I got sold a lemon with Tom - how much did you pay him to drive like a girl ! ?????? [:D]

Tom was cheap, only cost me pennies for him to throw a couple of races.
Who spun at turn 3 in the first lap of the A final, was 5th or 6th on grid, I went to last place after hitting him (slowly) [:(] ?
