Hi all,

Well, tomorrow night is the race night at Raceland,

Here is the address:

Upper Diamond
Gladsmuir, East Lothian EH33 1EJ
01875 853 550

Event Starts at 6.30pm, with briefing etc.
Racing Starts at 7.00pm and there will be two groups of 16 running as we have a full contingency of 32 people attending.

The evening will finish around 9.45pm.

I have spoken to them about clothing etc as its outdoors. The forecast for tomorrow evening on Metcheck and BBC weather is light showers. They have suggested that people wear layers, t-shirt-jumper etc as if you are too warm you can remove a layer.

Raceland provide helmet, gloves and overalls and have requested that you wear trainers for the actual driving.

There is a diner on site which is open until 8pm, for food, burgers, etc.

There is no meet point prior to the event, but I have included everyone on the email list if some want to meet up to drive through together or want to car share for the journey.

If you are leaving from Glasgow I would give yourself plenty of time for the trip as I travel this route twice a week in rush hour traffic and it takes me a minimum of 1 hour 45 minutes from South Side Glasgow to my office which is about the same distance, a bad day can easily be 2hours 15 minutes. There are road works on the M8 at Livingston and there are also road works on the Bellshill By Pass.

I will be there from 6pm for a Burger !

Regards
Scott.

This'll be interesting in the wet "¦

I guess we'd better set off around half four from here. It'll be a long evening!

Great night - my first time karting and thoroughly enjoyed it - even if I was sh1te........

...starting the diet for the next time...or maybe I shouldn't, at least with the extra weight I have an excuse![:D]

Really enjoyed tonight, best karting i've been to. The rain stayed off long enough for us to play, pity it came on driving home.
Alan.

Things are going to hurt tomorrow, aren't they?

That was a brilliant night out, best karting experience I've had so far. Must do it again.

If in doubt, flat out.

Best nights fun I've had in ages, can't wait til the next one. Never doing indoor karting again.

Great night
Enjoyed my A final crash at full speed -- not
Interesting reaction from a member after Heat 1. Must have eaten a testosterone and adrenaline snack before going on track !!
Good track well run, thanks Scott
Mike

Thanks again Scott for organizing such a fun night.
If your not hurting today then you weren't trying hard enough [;)] unless your Greg Barnard UK Schools kart Champion 2010 []
Psychopathic on track is one thing, but Randall and Hopkirk(deceased) Stig I thought you were going to be........deceased that is[:D][:D]

Great night Scotty Boy... good fun had by 30 of us and a couple of serious guys at each others throats :ROFLMAO:

What was good, was Dad not gloating about his driving as usual, his lines were awesome!

Dirty driver of the night goes to Griff

Thanks again Scott... bring on next week!

I think we should all take turns at wearing a brightly coloured " target suit"
Would make Griff and Stevies job easier
Mike N - stick to pushing small girls out of the way[;)]

Scott,

Excellent night. It good to hear that Greg is the UK Schools Hart Champion, it looked easy. I was beginning to blame the karts.

Sore left side today, must be those flat out right hand corners.

Great night Scott,

Louise says she will practice before the next one so guys look out.

Biggest cheer of the night was for Mike flagging down a taxi or was it a tow truck could'nt really see in the darkness [;)]

hey all,

fab fab fun, best karting night by a long shot !

louise was a ringer Chris ! cards marked for next time.

Stigy Barnard had to be the most entertaining, from the mr persil race suit to the most fabulous crash not to mention blocking and ramming people, all in the best possible taste !

ring and spa next week should be fab ! cant wait !

C Ya all soon

scottie.

Thanks for organising Scott!

Great night - thoroughly enjoyed the evening"¦ the forearms have just about recovered!

Look forward to karting outside again - beats the indoor tracks hands-down.
