keeping the wind out

I'm not sure if this is a top tip or a don't try this. I've been doing a lot of work inside the doors recently and trashed the membrane whilst doing it. I thought I would be clever and try some of that fake double glazing stuff that you use on your windows with the hair dryer to stretch it tight....I can't beleive the diffference it has made, much quieter and much warmer in the car now...

will post back in the next few weeks on it's durability....

well, it was going great until it rained...because the film is pulled tight accross the door it creates little pockets for rain to sit in :-( will probably remove and go for something that I can shape into all the little nooks and crannies...
