Hi Guys/Girls,

In the past, as a club, we have always supported this event with the Kendal Porsche Centre and R18 always making us welcome. Also, there is a concours competition on for R18 which is always good to see. Steve Richardson from our region always takes part and gets a prize, hopefully first this year.

So, a few of us are heading down to show our support for Steve and R18. We will be meeting at Lanchester garden centre at 8.45, ready for a 9.00 am departure. What I can promise is a great drive over there on some of the best roads in the UK. So if you fancy a great drive out that is where we'll be leaving from.

Cheers

Thanks for your comments and support Mark, I totally agree with you, R3 has always shown support to R18 and received a warm welcome. I have spoken to a couple of newbies about Kendal and the concours and they said they may join the drive over and possibly enter concours. So hopefully will have a decent turnout again.

Cheers

Thanks for organising an R3 presence at this event guys. Obviously, had the date not changed we would have had a lot more heading over to support R18 for this. I think we will be forgiven after supporting four of their events in large numbers already this year. I personally think it shows how much we have grown as a Region over the past few years that;

A. We have fantastic members who continue to have the desire to help and organise events.

B. We continue to have incredible support for PCGB & other Regions and other events not just those here in R3.

To be able to attend and show support at two events in a single weekend as a Region is of course superb.

Like I always say, one size doesn't fit all. When looking at the calendar we always try to avoid double booking weekends but inevitably some will clash, especially when members voice that they want to attend particular events as a club, but I'm extremely pleased to say with fantastic team work and communication as a Region we always somehow make it work.

Mark is 100% spot on, it's a brilliant drive over to Kendal & back with some stunning driving roads in between + Lanchester Garden Centre is a great place to meet (Mark & Wendy found this one) and their breakfasts are fabulous.

R18 and Porsche Centre Kendal always make us extremely welcome and well worth a visit. With a cracking forecast for the weekend I hope a few more members may choose to join them for the drive over and support our R3 guys showing in the Concours.

Great run out across to Kendal for the R18 Concourse event hosted by Porsche OPC Kendal.

R3 members were well looked after and a magic drive home too, following Mark and Wendy’s route.

To round the day off, found a fantastic watering hole overlooking the river in Kendal, as weather was damn hot.

Cracking Sunday!!

I'll echo what Chris said and a big thank you to R18 for making us very welcome as always. Two great drives there and back, still grinning.

Thank you all for coming over, glad you had a great day with good food, good roads and the usual [8|] Sunny Cumbrian weather :ROFLMAO:
