Key fob doesn't work..LED flashes rapidly

Hiya..noticed today that one of my key fobs doesn't turn lock or unlock the car (even when adjacent to it). The LED flashed rapidly too..rather than the one continuous flash. Changed battery but made no difference - anyone had similar experience?

They sometimes lose their coding for no apparent reason. It has happened to me before. You can try restarting the processor in the key head, which works occasionaly. Insert the coin cell the wrong way up (negative polarity) for 2-3 seconds, and then remove it and put it back the right way round.
 
I'm afraid it probably is...... Or forget about it, and just use the defunct one as a spare, if you don't need two working remotes.
