hi

where is the cheapest place to buy a 944 key head i know there are some on the bay but is there anywhere else?
 
I'd suggest an OPC, and your starter for ten would be Exeter (mention the forum as you get better discount than the PCGB one that way, and they usually post out for free).

Almost without exception the eBay sellers (and bricks and mortar ones such as Porschshop) buy parts such as this from the dealer network and sell them at a markup a massive one in the case of Porscheshop.
 
If you don't care what it looks like then you can get a whole new one cut at any key cutting shop on the high street. I assumed you wanted the illuminating one with the crest on it.
 
yes i want the original key head seen them on the bay for about £15 from germany but would like to source from uk
 
Illuminated & crest = series two: Golk key sans VW cut-out and with a small indented crest = series one.
 
I wasnt being snide there. Later type keys are far more attractive: I was simply offering a poverty spec alternative...
