Hi,
I have a key for a 04 MY Boxster that has stopped working and the red LED is on permanently. Having found no joy in the handbook, I assume one of two scenarios
A. The key is broken requiring a visit to the OPC, a day off work, warranty claim, delay, and hassle.
B. The battery has gone flat, and I can replace the battery at a local non-OPC garage. Is it possible to deprogram the immobiliser or security codes of the key if I leave the battery out too long?
Can anyone advise please.
