Keys, batteries, torches and remote central locking

Hi all,

Could someone please tell me if my '87 944S is meant to have remote central locking or if the button on the key just makes the little light come on?

If it does have remote central locking, it's not working and I just wondered where I could get the correct battery for the key. I tried Tesco, Boots, Superdrug, the local jewlers, our local car parts place; Mill Autos and MotorWorld.. all with no luck. Is there a website which people have used who stock it??

The button makes the light come on, useful to find your lock in the dark. Not as useful as remote central locking though.

It's for the torch only - you can get replacement batteries from Maplin.

Your central locking works from the internal console switch only unless you have had a aftermarket alarm fitted which has a central locking/ alarm activation keyfob
