Kidney going on ebay.....

I wish folk would stop posting things like this... I was happy with my car three minutes ago!
Oh, how I love the ST look.

Absolutely true. Although if I made a slick video on my website to sell a car for an awful lot of money, I might also accentuate the positive, and not say things like, for example..
"..of course getting the linkage right in a one off is near impossible"
or
"I am not showing off for the cameras, this thing oversteers around every corner. Even in reverse"
[;)]

yeah its quite nice .I particularly like the strange green colour but then I saw a gorgeous blonde in a tight green jumper coming out of Asda last week and managed to walk straight into an elderly couple whilst looking the opposit way to where I was walking [;)]

I don't like 911 period .They are just too claustaphobic for a big chap like me.............
now I wonder how well an 944 S2 would go given that treatment ...............

Blimey, how big are you? I`m 6`3`` and an early 911 copes with me just fine. One of the least claustrophobic cars I`ve ever driven, alround visibility just excellent and three fingers between bonce and headlining.

Regards, Mike

don't take it personally Mike I never have particularly liked the 911. I have driven sports cars all my driving life (40 years +) and never wanted a 911. I would prefer an Aston Martin Vantage over any 911
If you have ever driven a 944 you'll appreciate the difference in cockpit size between the two models. I prefer having the space around me I don't like to feel I am wearing the car .
Size wise you are 2" taller than me but I am nearly 18 stone .Every car I have owned I have had to put the seat back as far as it will go and then usually re-fit the seat runners further back still .I like space.[;)]

Mike, OK now I'm going to have to sell both kidneys and a lung...[8|]

That purple car is delicious - those Fuchs rims are gorgeous...

Off for a cold shower and a lie down now......[:D]

I am suprised Chris Harris is selling Kermit, in his original articles about the car it was the one he was
going to keep having gone to extensive trouble and expence building it. I wonder what his next project
will be?

So then, I`d better get round to finding a 944 to drive and find out what they`re all about.

Cheers, Mike
If you do get a chance I recommend you try an S2 rather than the slower Lux and definitly in the dry when you will appreciate the balance and phenominal road holding.

I think the 944 suits a more leisurely GT fast crusing sort of driving style with the occasional blast whereas the 911 looks like you need to be taking it by the scruff and pressing on .
Maybe I should try one out eh? ............now if I can just get the seat back far enough ......and get my belly under the steering wheel.......and get the door closed.....[:(]

Well, he has quite a track record of buying very desirable cars and keeping them for a relatively short time and then selling them at a loss.... Lambo Gallardo is just one that springs to mind.

Nice work if you can get it[8|][:D]

That 911 must have cost north of £75k to have built to that level of specification?

There is a RSR alike being built up at Jonny's place (Unit 11) for a Hong Kong customer and supposedly it will owe around £120k when completed - that has throttle bodies, trick internals, trick suspension etc.

Ah well, must remember to buy the Euro lottery ticket tonight......[8|]

think I would want a deposit and stage payments . Call me old fashioned but that is how my businesses survived 911 and foot and mouth etc
