In short, you can't switch it off. People in the past have suggested removing the relevant fuse..........!! I was quoted c £400 all in to have the disabling kit fitted!

Once junior gets to 27kgs (I think?) they can sit on a booster seat, without the need to deactivate the airbag - luckily my 2 boys are big for their ages, so they can now come out with me!

Use the disabling kit - it adds ISOfix fittings as well? What seats are in your RS60?

One of our members had her Boxster for a long time after baby arrived. She should be able to advise on prams and suchforth. (LBD it's your cue!)

we had a 986 when our son was born and kept it until he was about 1 and half. The quinny zap is supposed to fit in the front boot, but i didn't want another pushchair, so we used a baby carrier - like baby bjorn when really little or a backpack style for when older - this would fit in the rear boot ok. The reason it had to go in the end was you clearly can't all go out as a family in it. Also due to the big floods we had a few years ago, we ended up swapping it for a cayenne.

The deactivation kit adds isofix and turns the airbag off - well worth it , if you can keep your car for a bit longer.....
