Hi Everyone

I have just picked up the message below from the Sporting Bears web site. Sadly the event for Sunday the 15th July is cancelled.

As you are well aware this great event is not only our annual banquet but would have double up as our annual concours event.

Your committee will be looking for an alternative date and venue to host our concours event.

Plenty of other events both National and Regional to come - enjoy your cars and the Club!

Message from Sporting Bears Webs site:-

KIMBOLTON CHARITY CLASSIC
Is cancelled this year due to waterlogged grounds. We are not able to risk a late cancellation
that would incur a high financial penalty so after consulting with the school we have had to cancel the show this year.
Please notify anyone you know that may be attending

Hi John

Sorry to hear that as an event I always enjoy, however as a consolation to me as I am currently in OZ and would not make it this year maybe I can make the alternative concours event on my return![:)]

Thanks Brad - I though for a moment your were going to ask for expenses for a return trip from OZ so you could attend[;)]

Enjoy OZ - will keep you informed of alternative when sorted.

Very sorry to hear that Kimbolton is off, John.
If any of R24 fancy coming over to our monthly day meeting at OPC Silverstone on the 15 July, you'd be most welcome (of course!), as always[:)]
We'll just be having our usual good natter about our great cars[:D], even better when the weather's good[8D]

Such a pity was really looking forward to Kimbolton.
What a year for weather [] so many events cancelled or poor days out due to it.
The Porsche is just not getting any use this year will have to look into doing something or a small trip to make up for it.
Cliff.

Cliff

Yes what a pity about Kimbolton - however, this will not reduce the numebr of events the Region run since we will be meeting shortly to arrnage a further event to replace Kimbolton. If it keeps on raining we may have to purchase a pair of oars and row the car to a b***y event![;)]
