Kinghorn Bodyshop meet

Jeff Forsyth

New member
Nice to meet up with everybody today. I look forward to the forthcoming drives.

On another subject

For those within the Region still wondering why a new member to the group/Region is one of the 964 Region representatives (I keep being asked the same question) Well here goes:

(a) Ken Chambers (The 964 UK Registry Secetary) asked for Volunteers. I simply applied.
(b) I'm a Senior member and regular contributor to 964 Smartgroups (perhaps the most important 964 group in the UK if not the world :), helping members with technical and not so technical 964 issues
(c) Rennlist member and contributor
(d) Regular contributor to 964 PCGB forum
(e) Written an article or two for Porsche post

But I do apoligise on Ken's behalf for not letting the Region know in advance.

Sincerely

P.S : I took me nearly 3 hours after the meet to Zymol, yes Dear, just a couple more minutes ........

Good to meet you today Jeff..
I hadn't considered the whole 964 representative thing, to be honest.

It was a good meet today...a very informative visit...and a fine selelction of cars out!!

We had a high speed run along some of the NEs finest back roads...to Ellon. David won the eBay auction for a set of Supercup exhausts for his 993...so we went out again of the backroads, in the sunshine, to celebrate.

Yes, it was good to meet you both and the other members. I had put my foot down as I left the rbt for Inverurie hoping you would all hear the burst of the Cup pipe. No wonder I'm going deaf ...gladly...great weather.

Hope to see you all soon for a good blast in the countryside

Hi Jeff,

Very informative meet - I suspect Kinghorn's will be taking more of my money as and when. The attention to detail is at the obsessive level - just what I like!

Good to meet you, I'll need to introduce you to my mate Johnny with his 964 - you can show him how to maintain one properly...

David... Eagerly awaiting the delivery of supercup exhausts!

Jeff

I cannot see the problem really.

All the information is posted on the website and in the Porsche Post. If anyone's toes felt in any way trod on, then that's their problem.

You have chosen to be a 'car' member, which is what this club is all about.

We must get a Sunday hoon organised soon, for those who like to partake in a bit of spirited driving.

Cheers

Mark
