Knockhill and BTCC Preview

So I was up at Knockhill last night where the Mrs won a race (which is better than I'll ever achieve sadly) - running race that is....

Anyway, they were setting up for the Touring Cars this weekend and there was a couple of the Ginetta G55s (look and sound gorgeous) and one of the BTCC cars out having a sneaky few laps....here's a quick snap I captured:

but the real action was happening the night before when gungho was out harassing the evos/scoobies into blowing up their engines, I've never been to a track night with as many blown engines - at one point there was 2 dead cars on track at once....I counted 5 blown engines, 3 other excursions into the scenery and 1 race mini completely rolled going over the dip....a few pics below.

Also just to mention that both Raymond and Stevie will be racing in the support races this weekend, worth going to see by itself....anyone else going up?

Great photos Greig, looked like an entertaining evening!

Last wednesday was a great night at KH too...........wet for the first hour so that made things a little interesting. Even I had a few twitches, not like the spins Gary & Jonathan had mind!!!

Sorry I'll miss Dakota tomorrow but hope to see you all soon.

Kx

Hi Greig

Raymonds not racing this weekend, he is going to be at the PCGB 50th Event at RAC Cirencester and Silverstone.

Hope the weathers good for KH and for us down at 50th.

Cheers Al

Ps If you get a chance, see if you can get a couple of pics of Marino Franchitti( Dario's wee bro) in the Ginetta G55 Guest car.
