Does anyone know if there are still places available for KH next week? Ian is away until Tuesday so I will get in touch with him when he is back, but it would be helpful to know if it is already full.

hmmm, maybe not, can't get my caliper bolts to tighten - then previous spanner monkey mis-threaded and shredded the hole, so can't get any grip....don't know what the hell to do

No problem. It is free so just turn up anytime from 5.30. Track time starts about 6.

Doesn't look like I am going to make it now. []

grieg,,

look at the bolt,,, if its damaged,, buy a new bolt,,,
look at the part that the bolt screws into,,,,,, if this is badly damaged,,, it will need re-tappped,,,,, suggest that you try using one of the bolts from the caliper on the other side and gently screw it in,,,,,, if its only slightly damaged the bolt will sort it,,,,

ps buy the correct bolt from porsche,,, do not use any old bolt,, they will probably be gr 8.8 or above,,,, generally stamped on the shank or head,,,,

cheers
scott..

Scott - took it to George and just told him to fix it - totally mangled, no thread left. A bit pissed off that it was an OPC mechanic that left it like that.
