Knocking from front end.

I'm over in the Lakes at the moment, and on the (very wet) drive over here, I noticed that there is now a pronounced knocking from the front end. If anybody has ever owned a VAG with the multilink front suspension, the noise will be oh so familiar!
Anyways, I was intending to rebuild the suspension in the winter, but what do people recommend replacing? I'm not after any upgrades, just standard stuff. but what to renew - dampers feel fine. but what else gets tired?
 
I got a knocking atm and one of the Anti Roll bar bushes has snapped, only knocks on cambers change really. Drive and steer smooth i dont get the knocking, Should all be sorted when its in the garage friday anyway :)
